Important things to bear in mind...
2020 and 2021 have been very challenging but one of the positives for many people is that they have been able to introduce a furry family member to their pack. This is fantastic, however, because life hasn't been normal and the majority of people have been working from home for an extended period this means that many puppies have not had the early life they would normally have had pre covid.
Happy and contented dogs
It is important for anyone looking for day care or boarding services with us that they understand that their dog will need to be completely house trained, be well socialised, be able to be left alone for short periods of time and be happy to sleep downstairs, with other dogs but away from humans. Unfortunately, we are not able to have dogs sleeping upstairs with us. They can be left loose in the kitchen or sleep in a crate if that is what they are used to and is best for them. We have our own dog, so dogs would never be completely alone.
A healthy and safe environment for all
To avoid any unwanted problems all dogs need to be neutered as soon as your vet recommends. This is for both dogs and bitches. I'm sorry but we cannot take any bitches that are in season or about to come into season. At fetch we will only take on new dogs if they are either neutered or will be by the age of one year old.
Living in harmony
We are very lucky to have the best neighbours ever who are amazingly understanding. We do our absolute best to keep the noise down as much as possible which means we have a zero-tolerance on unnecessary barking. Of course, dogs will bark, and that is fine, however, if you have a particularly barky dog then I'm afraid this won't be the right place for him or her. Sorry! Of course, we are very happy to do a test trial if you're not sure how your dog will be.
We are a busy family of five, including our seven-year-old dog Poppy. Dogs who stay with us live as part of the family and I think it is fair to say dogs always enjoy coming back. I have many clients who would be very happy to give you their feedback and provide a reference. Please also take a look at my pictures and videos instagram - fetch.petcare
